Rice Roti is actually a recipe from Karnataka that is very easy to cook and rich in nutritious. It is very tasty and is eaten with great passion. You can eat it with coriander leaves chutney, tomato sauce, pickle, curd, coconut chutney, hot red chutney. So let's go through the process of making this.


Ingredients :-

Vegetables:

1 medium sized carrot
10 or 12 beans beans
1 medium sized capsicum
2 green chilies
1 inch piece of ginger

1 medium sized tomato

Masala :-

1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds
1/2 teaspoon Nigella seeds
according to taste


3 bowl rice flour

5 teaspoons ghee

Method:-


Firstly finely chop the vegetables. Here I have finely chopped capsicum, tomatoes, carrots, beans, green chilies and ginger with manual chopper.

After this, I will add half a teaspoon of Carom seeds, half a teaspoon Nigela seeds, half a teaspoon Black pepper powder, salt according to taste and finely chopped vegetables in three bowls of rice flour. Mix these vegetables well with rice flour.

Here, pour lukewarm water and knead the dough. Here we have to knead the dough a little harder, so here we have to take care of it a little bit and add water little by little. After kneading the dough, we will leave it covered for 10 minutes so that the dough sets well.

After 10 min knead it a little, we will take out the ball size dough and roll it gently to make dough discs ( Roti ). Here I have taken rice flour for dusting ( parathan ) only. Rice flour is very soft, due to this there is a problem in making Roti. So you can make Roti with a plastic seat.

Now place the rolled disc (Roti) on tawa (Pan) on a high flame and once the base is cooked flip over the disc. After flipping the disc (Roti), turn the heat to medium. When it is roasted from both sides, then apply a spoon of clarified butter (Ghee) on bread.

In this way, you can roast the bread from both sides. If you want, you can also eat it without ghee.
