  • 1 cup Gond (edible gum)
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Jaggery, grated
  • 1 cup Desi Ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/2 cup Almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cashews, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 cup Raisins

Instructions

  1. Heat desi ghee in a pan and fry the gond until it puffs up. Remove and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan, add whole wheat flour and roast until it turns golden brown and gives a nutty aroma.
  3. Add chopped almonds and cashews. Roast for a few more minutes.
  4. Now, add grated jaggery and mix well until it melts and combines with the flour mixture.
  5. Add cardamom powder and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat.
  6. Let the mixture cool slightly. Then, add the fried gond and raisins. Mix well.
  7. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into laddus while the mixture is still warm.
  8. Allow the laddus to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
