kela ka kofta | Kofta indian dishes | केले का कोफ्ता | Raw Banana Kofta Curry Recipe in Hindi | Kele ka Kofta
We can eat bananas either as ripe bananas, or by making raw banana vegetables. Today I will tell you how to cook party style raw banana koftas. For this I have taken
three raw bananas,
4 medium sized tomatoes,
1 inch piece of ginger,
two green chili.
spices:
One teaspoon coriander powder, half teaspoon celery,
half teaspoon whole cumin,
half teaspoon cumin powder,
half teaspoon pepper powder,
two bay leaves,
black cardamom,
three to four cloves,
two green cardamom,
1 inch cinnamon.
half teaspoon garam masala powder,
half teaspoon turmeric powder,
one teaspoon red chilli Powder,
one teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves,
three teaspoons of gram flour.
Process:
First, wash the banana thoroughly and cut the banana into pieces. Then boil the chopped bananas in the cooker. Keep in mind that two to three whistles will be enough to boil the banana in the cooker. Wash the tomatoes, ginger, green chilies and cut them into slices until the cooker cools down and make a fine paste in the grinder. To prepare the Kofta Balls I have taken three spoons of gram flour. But instead of raw gram flour, fry the gram flour slightly. Frying gram flour removes the rawness of gram flour. Fry the gram flour on medium flame and keep stirring continuously so that the gram flour does not burn. The bananas are well boiled and frosted. Now peel off its skin. Now put the bananas in a bowl and mash them well with the help of fok. After mashing, first add roasted gram flour and then add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt to taste, half a teaspoon of chaat masala and a teaspoon of mustard oil.
Mixing mustard oil makes it easier to make kofta balls.
Now we will mix them all together. Now, by applying mustard oil in the palm, we will make small balls of koftas like this. Now we will deep fry Kofta Balls. For this, heat the pan and add mustard oil to it. Mustard oil is good for frying, but you can also use some other oil if you wish. Fry the kofta balls on medium heat until golden.
After frying, take out the kofta balls from the pan.
Now we will make kofta gravy. For this, after heating the pan, add three teaspoons of mustard oil, after heating the oil, add cumin seeds, big cardamom, cloves, green cardamom, cinnamon slice, bay leaf, carom seeds. Roast them on medium flame for 5 to 4 seconds.
After that add a pinch of asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder and fry it on medium flame for three to five seconds.
Next, add tomato ginger green chilli paste which we have prepared earlier. Mix all the ingredients well with this paste.
Next, add cumin powder, black pepper powder and one teaspoon coriander powder. We will mix them all together.
After this, add salt as per taste and mix them all well.
After that cover all these spices on medium heat and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. When oil starts coming out, we will mix them well. After this, one teaspoon garam masala powder, and one teaspoon Kasuri methi will be added. After that, I will mix them all well.
Now add half a bowl of water. Mix them all well and allow it to boil slightly.
Now, we are going to put kofta balls in it.
Please note that we will not cover the pan. Covering can make the koftas soft and break.
After about 10 seconds of cooking, the banana kofta is ready to be offered to Lord Shri Krishna. Banana koftas can be served with hot roti, parathas, rice and casserole.
